Where deer graze and ravens and eagles soar...

RavensRetreat/hillraven2.jpg

Ravens Retreat has plenty of room for dogs and kids to play and frolic. A large green lawn fronts the house and winds around the side to the backyard fruit trees and rock gardens. New landscaping features native plants that add color to every season. The hot tub is conveniently located on the stone patio, steps from the side entrance. Take a soothing soak, then step down to the new patio by the creek to take in nature's lullaby.

The stairs pictured here lead from the front yard to Ravens Retreat mountain, a great place to explore. As you climb to the top, red rock mountains begin to appear in every direction. After a rain, a glimmering carved arrowhead might catch your eye as this was the hunting ground of Native Americans who lived by the stream.

View half way up the hill looking west.

A great place to be for sunsets and your favorite beverage.

Moab in winter is probably one of the world's best keept secrets. The majestic red rock formations accented by snow are sights to behold, the parks are nearly empty, and you can have the canyon trails and Ravens Retreat's large jacuzzi to yourself.

The stream that borders the lane and Ravens Retreat, within sight of the jacuzzi, is called Pack Creek. With the jets turned low, the gentle gurgling sounds of the stream make a visit to the jacuzzi in winter a never to be forgotten experience.
